TIPS Skim is part of the mobile application suite of TIPS (Tieto Integrated Pulp and Paper Solution). With TIPS Skim you can check the status of your machines through your smartphone. You get a quick overview on the status of your production, how your machines are performing and if there are any issues. Additionally, you can receive alerts about critical situations or incidents via push notifications. The application requires an online connection to a TIPS system in combination with the Tieto Mill Workplace (MWP). This is a new solution that helps modern manufacturing companies to get holistic view on the production for their employees. Information is connected and intelligently distributed. This allows employees make faster decisions and work more efficient.
